For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven the Lord viewed the earth, to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death.

Heaven is focused on earth. And our Father’s attention is drawn to those who are groaning in their prison of despair. Christ is our Head and we are His body. We are His hands and feet that bring Him into people’s lives and reach out to them with His love. Always remember the chains that once kept you bound as a prisoner and the hope that you had lost. Take Christ to those who need Him most.
