YOU BECOME WHAT YOU PRAY FOR

Epaphras, who is one of yourselves, a servant of Christ Jesus, sends you greetings. [He is] always striving for you earnestly in his prayers, [pleading] that you may [as persons of ripe character and clear conviction] stand firm and mature [in spiritual growth], convinced and fully assured in everything willed by God.

Colossians 4:12 (AMP)

Prayer plays a key role in our spiritual growth. Epaphras puts this into practice by praying for the development of: ripe character, clear conviction, a firm stance, spiritual maturity, and a full assurance in God’s will in people’s lives. Follow his example by praying for God to develop these same qualities in your life. Link arms with the Spirit through prayer and pursue growing in God.
